I am starting a new thread on these majestic birds because the old one I found hasn't been posted on for many years.
Yesterday, on our way home from Wichita, I saw two of these mighty birds. Not one, but two and they were miles apart. The first one was west of Beaumont and I identified it by it's white tail flashing in the sunlight as it made a turn.
The second one was about a mile west of the 400/99 junction. I saw both the head and the tail as the eagle turned towards us.
That is the most eagles I have seen in one day since the day that there were so many of them at the Winfield Lake.
Is anyone else seeing more eagles than usual in this area?
I was in Grenola for Thanksgiving. We saw 5-6 eagles in just a few days. They were amazing. One of them was a youngin, and still had a brown tail.
we've been seeing 1 changed adult and 2 unchanged adolesents down the road off 26th and grain they have been around for a few days.today being Dec 7th
