Louisa Josephine Weeks was born in Forsythe county, North Carolina, May 4, 1859, and departed this life January 10, 1911, at 5 p.m. She was married to Mr. George H. Walker at Leavenworth, Kansas, April 25, 1887. To this union were born two daughters, Katherine and Elsie. The husband and daughter Katherine passed away before the wife and mother. One daughter, a mother, three sisters and seven brothers, with a large circle of friends and relatives mourn the loss of a good woman and a kind friend. Funeral from M. E. church, January 11, burial in Elk Falls cemetery.
