Title: Freedom in the 50 States

Thought this was interesting. A couple of surprise placements, I think. Several states ranked above Kansas that surprised me, and Alaska ranking so low.

Keep in mind who pays the bills at the Mercatus Center at George Mason University:

"The Mercatus Center was founded by Rich Fink, former president of the Koch Family Foundations, which funds a network of market-oriented think tanks and advocacy groups. Originally called the Center for Market Processes, it moved from Rutgers University to George Mason in the early 1980s before assuming its current name in 1999. The Mercatus Center is entirely funded through donations, including from energy company Koch Industries[2], individual donors and foundations."

Yeah, I know. That's why it's here in Politics instead of the Coffee Shop.

If the Federal income tax was abolished, there wouldn't be any reason for it.

Well, for what it's worth, that's one job that the Chinese didn't get........
