I believe it appropriate to start a new thread as we are dealing with genealogy, now.
Micheal, what was the name of your great-grandmother that was to have been buried near Severy?
And do you have any time period that your relatives lived in Elk County? (Such as 1900-1950, before that, or after that, etc?)
And what are the family surnames that you are researching that lived in Elk County? L:et me re-phrase that.......are there other surnames besides "Glenn" that you are searching for?
With a little information, maybe someone on this forum will be able to give you some information.
Ask Janet....she's a walking encyclopedia!  She hears all.....sees all.......and knows
all!
I briefly checked the census records, and found a William Glenn listed for Paw Paw township, and his wife was Elizabeth J. Would that be the right family?
wowww, yep...you have found out my greatgrandgrandgrandgranny *don´t know how much grand I need*.

Micheal,
You might want to check out this website: www.findagrave.com The Twin Grove Cemetery at Severy has been recorded and the information is posted on that site. There are 4 Glenn graves listed: Blanche L. b. Jan. 22, 1894 d. Jan 27, 1894 dau. of R.O and F.L. Glenn
Jane Glenn b. 1857 d. 1916
Mary J. Glenn b. Mar 4, 1822 d. Jan. 29, 1899 (your direct grandmother correct?)
William Glenn b. 1850 d. 1914
I hope some of this is new information for you. I really enjoy reading your posts and are glad you've joined us on this forum.
...that´s a brandnew information for me, thank you very much, I have to add that to my files immediately. :o :):
I don´t know, if it is right from the grammar but "that´s the stuff" I´m looking for!
I´m very happy.

Well, I learned something tonight. I didn't know that the Severy cemetery had been recorded. I will definitely look at that website.
The entire cemetery listing is not on the www.findagrave.com, as the information is contributed by individuals who are doing what they can to help get the data online. I believe Dan Durbin said they had over 1,000 names that were submitted for that cemetery, and that is impressive! Now......if we could just get folks to contribute their data for the Howard Grace Lawn cemetery and others through out the county, that would be really nice!
