This morning is one of my favorite days of the year. The temperature is below freezing and as the sun hits the tops of the trees, the leaves are falling like rain. Mulberrys and pecans seem to be the most affected and with their bigger leaves make more of a show. There is no wind this morning, not even a breeze to help dislodge the leaves. Cottonwoods, hackberrys and maples are also joining the act.
