That is actually very good for a person that is not native to this country. I couldn't get 30% in the European Countries. Bravo!!
I HATE this kind of thing!! >:(
But I will take it anyway, and see what horrible score I come up with...
**Nothing like humiliating yourself in public**... :-[
**mumbling to myself** Jeese~... I can barely get to Oklahoma without a map... ???
(((whining and wringing my hands :-\)))
78% score

( the only reason I even did that good is because I am great with puzzles and I just did it like a puzzle...and fit the pieces..( wellll now some of them I knew.. ( kinda :-\ )
That was pretty fun.
My score was 86%--23 miles--233 Seconds.
Is that good?? :-\
Howdy Sammy! Good score!
Look at the score above yours. She is still whining about it and keep telling me excuses about her mouse not working properly. ::) ::)

Score: 100%

No. You don't get a cookie, but we might call you names like smart XXs or nerd or something. We will think of something.

((((For an OLD GUY , that is))) *winking*
I know you are a very special guy.. one who is what 'real friend' defines.
Catching up on the past posts I came across this so I thought I would try it, and I scored.
94% accurate with a 7 mile error in 311 seconds with 47 out 50 perfect.
86% 19 miles 410 seconds
(but thats 'cos I had to answer the door and I could not see a pause button--thats my story and I am sticking with it ;D )
Thank you so much Dee Gee for bringing one of the old posts back to life.
It is nice to do that sometimes as some of the new members find things that they didn't know was there and a lot of the old memebrs forgot about it and like to read it or participate in it again.
;D haha
98% 3 miles 181 secs
Weeeeee! The only reason I did that so quick is because of playing the map pieces on jigzone.com puzzles. LOL
86% 26 mi. 330 sec.
I will admit I went back and checked everybody else's scores before I decided to post mine. For an old woman who has been out of school for almost 60 years, I didn't do too bad. I used to do a United States jig saw puzzle, too, so know them pretty well. My problem is the far northeast.
Speaking of states...
Kansas received its name from the Kanza tribe, although those people prefer to be called Kaw.
How many of the fifty U.S. states are either named after an Indian tribe or base its name on an Indian language word?
The answer may surprise you as many names have been absorbed into everyday American English language. Kansas, Nebraska, Iowa, Missouri, Arkansas all have Indian names.
Here are two states that do not qualify as being named after Indians:
Delaware: There is a Delaware tribe but that tribe, the Lenape, renamed themselves after the Delaware River before they were forced to move west to Kansas and then to Oklahoma.
Indiana. Indiana is a created word with the meaning "land of Indians."
