Actually it was yesterday. I had the pleasure of watching an oriole take a bath in my bird bath. It is the first time I have even seen an oriole there. The black and orange was a change from the blue and black that is usually bathing.
That's pretty neat Wilma. I have used oodles of yarn offering it to the orioles for their nest. I too got to see a neat thing yesterday, Mother BlueJay had her baby setting beside her on the bird feeder post. He was as large as she behaving like a real baby, fluttering and fussing wanting her to feed him. When it came time to fly, he flew as well as she did, so I think she was trying to wean him from his ways.
