Interesting. My only problem is that the constitution doesn't appear to prohibit the delegation of it's powers and authority.  It has always contracted it's business out. Which of course can create problems of bad bidding practices and sore losers.That's how our old friend Ben Franklin got an exclusive contract to print "money" back in the day.

I don't disagree with you.  But in this case, the government isn't even delegating its authority or contracting the services of some entity to secure the border.  They're ignoring the border, hence; Not doing their job!

Time to fire folks, and start at the very top and work our way down til we get some folks that are willing to do their job.
Curb your politician.  We have leash laws you know.

You hit the nail square on the head. Need to elect the people that will do their job for the people and limit the time they are in. If they do a good job they will get elected again.
