Gary L. Klaudt, 59, of Kansas City, Kansas, lost his life in a tragic accident in his beloved t-bucket hot rod on Saturday, April 3, 2010.  Gary was born September 10, 1950 in Batavia, Arkansas.

He married Cindy Mills nearly 36 years ago, and they have lived in the same home for the past 32 years.  Gary was a Redi-Mix truck driver for over 23 years.  He was a member of Mo-Kan Teamsters Local 541.  He enjoyed the outdoors and hunting, fishing, riding his Harley, and working on their farm.  For twelve years, Gary and Cindy, in a combined effort, built their t-bucket from a kit.  They looked forward to the many years they would spend enjoying it together.

Gary is survived by his wife Cynthia Sue (Mills) Klaudt; son, Justin C. and his wife Becky L. Klaudt; mother, Helen Klaudt; brother, Ivan;  sisters, Gwen, Ruby, Agnes, Thelma, Shirley, and Marilyn; his mother-in-law, Wanda Lee Mills of Moline, Kansas; and many other beloved family members and dear friends.  He was preceded in death by his father, Daniel, and a brother, Cliff.

Funeral services were Saturday, April 10, 2010 at the Porter Funeral Home in Kansas City, Kansas.  Memorial contributions may be sent to Animal Haven, 98700 W. 67th Street, Merriam, Kansas 66203 in Gary's name.  Condolences may be expressed at www.porterfuneralhome.com.  Arrangements are under the direction of Porter Funeral Home, 1835 Minnesota Avenue, Kansas City, Kansas 66102.
