Kake and Moline Elementary $500.00

Just watched the news on Kake Channel 10.   Moline Elementary received $500.00 for the library. I assume folks in the county already know this.  Congratulations to all the children and teachers who really seemed thrilled to receive the attention.

Yup, a whole month for the school to enjoy the honor!

They can take the books that are purchased with them to the high school.  That is what the money is used for.  And last I knew, Moline and Severy were part of West Elk district.  Severy received this a few years back, too.  I know people are not happy about the situation, but could the negative aspect be left out of the good things that happens at the school for once.
