Billy Dean Huckey of Fall River, Kansas, age 19, died Saturday, April 3, 2010.  Billy was born on July 6, 1990 in Wichita, Kansas, the son of Billy Dean Davis and Virginia Lee Merrill.  Billy was adopted and raised by Ben and the late Dorothy (Miner) Huckey.

Billy attended Fredonia High School.  He enjoyed fishing, animals, and being outdoors.  He enjoyed doing handyman type work.  He enjoyed being with friends and his family.

Billy is survived by his father, Ben C. Huckey of Fall River, Kansas; three brothers, Randy Huckey of Kansas and Michael and Johnathan Burks of Valley Center Kansas; and his mother Virginia Merrill.  Billy was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Huckey, and his grandmother, Cora Decker.

Cremation has been requested with a memorial service to be held at a later date.  The family suggests memorials to help defray costs and may be left with the funeral home.  Online condolences may be left at www.countrysidefh.com.  Arrangements are under the direction of Countryside Funeral Home, 420 S. 20th Street, P.O.
