I am sitting here watching the Laker game and as in the past, I have often wondered------------------------

why do the networks feel, in the pro games such as basketball or football, that we need to hear the so-called analysts tell us-----

a) what it was we just watched

b) why they are more informed than I am

c) why they have to be there when we could be watching the halftime show

I am sure that there is a halftime show of some sorts.  I don't particularly care about their opinions.  I would rather watch the Laker girls or some tumbling group or a jazz band on the court, or in football, a marching band.
