Warph, I see what you're saying.  But we have to face facts.  There is no way that we are ever going to pay off this debt.  According to
http://www.usdebtclock.org/ the U.S. National Debt is at 12.4 trillion and counting.

No one, Democrat or Republican, is willing to stop this maddness.  Both sides do the same thing, spend, spend, spend, then blame the other side for spending too much.
In my opinion, it is only a matter of time before this whole thing comes crashing down on our heads.  And frankly, I think we deserve it.
It is high time we eased the drought suffered by the Tree of Liberty. Let us not stand and suffer the bonds of tyranny, nor ignorance, laziness, cowardice. It is better that we die in our cause then to say that we took counsel among these.

actually it will.  Vote them out.  Another thing is to shutdown this 9th circuit court.   Need to abolish it.  That would be easily done if the public prosecuted it and abolished the court.
Need to remove several of them and put the fear of the people back into the court system.

I have to agree with Pam on this one.  We "vote them out" everytime we elect someone new and yet it is still the same result.

Until we stand up and actually force these jokers to adhere to the Constitution and get rid of the "take care of me" mentality that has plauged this country ain't nothing gonna change.

well maybe.  We'll see. quite frankly i would rather have the republicans in office, we might be on a downward spiral but were on a slower spiral than when the dems have office.

The same ol "lesser of two evils" just AIN'T gonna work anymore. Sooner people face that and quit VOTING for "the lesser of two evils" the sooner things may change for REAL...........but I doubt it. The government is a money talks and bullshit walks business and the ones with their fists in the till up to the shoulder ain't gonna give up that easy. Personally I'm kinda SICK of ANY downward spiral...slow or otherwise.

Not really.  You have to remember that it isn't just money we're talking about.  Correct me if I am wrong but it was republicans that came up with the Patriot Act.  You have to remember whose backing these people and what it is that they want.  Neither of the two parties take the constitution seriously nor do they care what the american people think.  The only thing they care about is power and money.  Both parties pander to the special interest groups, both parties want total control.  The system needs to crash and be rebooted.

The lesser of two evils is still evil.

Honestly.. The RINO Republican's are no better than the lib Dems.

Hopefully the RINO's go down in flames just like the lib Dems and the additional fear they monger (though justified) will be used to replace them along with the lib Dems.

RINO's, like Lindsey Graham and the traitor Trent Lott, are as disagreeable to me as Reid, Pelosi, Boxer, Shumer, BHO, Clinton, Durbin, etc..
