                                         Death of Mrs. Henrietta Glasscock

  Henrietta Rathburn was born near Cordova, Illinois, November 10, 1841; died, December 27, 1910, age 69 years, 1 month and 17 days; was married at the age of 17 to John K. Glasscock.  They resided near Cordova until 1880, and with the exception of one year spent in Arkansas, have resided in and near Moline.
  The following children were born to this union:  Lillian J., Joseph H., Grace, John T., Gred B., Edson E., Walter R., Edith H., Mabel M., and Edna, three of whom have passed on and await her coming home.  She was converted at the age of 18 and since has been a faithful and consistent member of the Baptist church.  Her faith was clear and she rests at home.  Her friends were those who knew her.  A faithful mother to her chidlren who adore her memory as they adored her personally in lilfe.  Her's has been a busy life but she met every claim that living brings more than half way.  She leaves numerous friends as well as relatives to mourn her departure from them.
  The funeral services were held at the Methodist church Thursday afternoon, december 29, 1910, conducted by Rev. A. Cullison, pastor of the M. E. church.
  The remains were laid to rest in the Moline cemetery. - Moline Gazette.
