Barber--Rogers

James Harry Barber and Miss Ruth Eva Rogers, both of Howard, were married October 2, 1925, by Judge Fred Shaff.  The wedding was kept a secret for several days, but it finally became known and Monday "Bud" Barber was around setting up the cigars.

The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Rogers of Howard, a graduate of Howard High School, and a popular and amiable member of the younger set.  The groom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Edwin J. Barber, an industrious, ambitous young man and highly respected.  "Bud" and Ruth are both active Howard youngsters, and everybody heartily wishes them joy and prosperity.  They will go to housekeeping shortly, and will make Howard their home.
