Did you know that Moe, Curly and Shemp were brothers----and Larry was a professional violinist and a boxer ?

Nope, didn't know that, but I do now.  Thanks.  Larry became a violinist because his father saw him about to drink acid and slapped it out of his hand burning his arm.  In order to build up the muscles in the damaged arm, he learned to play the violin and became quite proficient at it.  In one episode of their act, all three were playing the fiddle, but only Larry was actually playing.  Amazing the things you learn from this forum!
