AARP hits your mail box means you are a senior citizen.
Welcome to the old timers club....LOL it isn't so bad.....just need to stock up on a supply of pain relievers, tummy medicine and maybe some exlax and then when you meet others of the same age group you can compare just which meds work the best for you........Lots to talk about.......LOL.

     We did go to a restaurant this evening that gave senior discounts for those 55 and older, but we didn't ask for one.  It will take me a while to get used to this.  Thanks for the good wishes - they are appreciated.

On my 50th I got a solicitation from AARP and a sample of prunes in the mail. I laughed 'till I cried!

     I got the solicitation from AARP when I turned 50, too.  No prunes, though.

Happy Birthday!  I keep forgetting to do the senior citizen discount.  Cheating myself.  Did not get prunes on my 50th and I like them.  Maybe they were not handing out prunes that many years ago.     Happy Birthday!

Sorry I missed your birthday.  My computer was not being nice and finally had to have it worked on.  Glad you had a good birthday though.

Now that you are 55 those birthdays will seem to start coming pretty fast.  I am not sure what happened to some of those years between 55 and 64, I seem to have missed them.
