I'm eating delicious sugar cookies that the neighbor brought me.  Sooooo good!!!!!

Wilma

And you haven't invited me over for coffee?  shame on you, guns.  Diane, I think I will stay out of Delaware for awhile.

Dee Gee, I have been contemplating the differences in our answers but haven't taken the time to find where I erred.  I have to admit that I did not know if my theory would work or not, but our answers are close enough that I if I should ever want to know the height of a tree again, I will use it. (If I can get someone to measure the shadows).

Today I am watching the leaves fall and two football games, keeping up on some others.  Isn't college football great?

So now I'm told that CNN and the Newark 3 ring circus is coming to TV Thursday evening at 7:30.  ;D I don't know what to believe. College football, falling leaves and sugar cookies. That's a good combination anytime!

Now for excitement I am making carrot cookies for my Mom and sister.  Everyone have an exciting evening. ;D

Wilma

So, which am I, your mom or your sister?

Diane Amberg

Uh, do they ship well?   ;)    Sounds like nice fall make -your- kitchen-smell- good evening. Have fun!

Al and I just got back from making a presentation to City Council. Otherwise we would have done Bingo again. Next Monday we go to Baltimore to Johns Hopkins Hospital to see a specialist to see if Al's polio problems are kicking up again or he is coming down with  Rheumatoid Arthritis. NOT looking forward to that trip.

I certainly got enough of chasing doctors when Ted was alive; but it was worth it to have him around as long as I did. Here's hoping that Neither Polio nor Rheumatoid Arthritis is the conclusion. That it is merely a passing problem, cured by fresh apple pie with cheddar cheese melted on top. Prayers with you both, getting old ain't for sissies!  :-*

Al would agree fresh apple pie fixes most anything! Watching the miners come up last evening was a real thrill. What a wonderful effort.  Now I'm off to teach fire safety to preschoolers for the morning. Have a good one everybody.

I too watched the miners come up.  I was very impressed that the president of Chile was right there.  He needed to be.
Wouldn't it have been great if President Bush had gone down to New Orleans and directed the rescue of Katrina victims ?  The country would have been a different place.
