AMES, Annor Louisa - b. February 23, 1826 - d. December 26, 1909

  At the home of her son, E. E. Ames, in this city, Sunday December 26, 1909, Annor Louisa Ames, age 83 years 10 months and 3 days.
  The deceased has made her home in Howard for six or seven years and for the past year has been in very poor health.  She was born in Wyndham, Ohio, February 23, 1826.  She later moved to Pennsylvania, where she was married to Louis Ames.  Four children were born of this union, three sons and one daughter, one of the sons dying when a lad of 12.  Her other children were unable to be present at her funeral.
  Funeral services were held at the home, Monday December 27, at 2:00 o'clock, conducted by Rev. C. E. Creager.  Burial at Grace Lawn cemetery.
