Janet Harrington

  Emma Reed was born December 4, 1857, died at her home near Howard, Kansas, December 31, 1909, age 52 years and 27 days.  On September 29, 1884, she became the wife of Sam Hugg.  To this union were born two sons.  At an early age she became a Christian and united with the Methodist church at Ames Chapel.  And in 1904 she united with the Nazarene church at Howard and has been a faithful member ever since.
  Sister Hugg leaves a husband, two sons, Albert and Elmer, an aged mother, three brothers and two sisters, and Frances who has been mothered by the deceased since the death of her mother, who departed this life November 14, 1908, with other relatives and a host of friends to mourn her departure.
