Janet Harrington

  Charlotte Hugg was born on Mound Branch near Howard, Kansas, December 4th, 1871.  On September 1, 1891, she was united in marriage to George L. Adams of the same locality.  To their union four children were born, Howard C., Clarice F., Ruth L. and Ruby L. who, with her husband, mother and three brothers survive to mourn her departure.  Early in life she united with the Howard Presbyterian church on profession of faith and continuted a member therof until her death which occurred March 22nd, 1910.  The funeral services were held at the family home conducted by Rev. J. E. Deggendorf, pastor of the Presbyterian church.  Her remains were laid to rest in the Howard Grace Lawn cemetery.  "Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord."
