Mohammed Saeed al-Sahhaf, Baghdad Bob.

There appear to be no recent updates on his whereabouts. Apparently, he fled Iraq after capture and release by US Forces.

He was captured shortly after claiming the Americans were ready to surrender because, if they did not, they knew they would be annihilated.

He initially went to the United Arab Emirates. Some reports have him still in the UAR but a 2008 report had him in Qatar, as a guess.

There were reports last year that Senator Harry Reid and Representative Bob Murtha were looking for him and were ready to surrender.

Mohammed Saeed al-Sahaf was the outrageous Iraqi Information Minister during the 2003 Iraq War.
He earned the nicknames Comical Ali and Baghdad Bob for his wild claims and colorful statements, made while Iraq was being invaded and overrun by American and British forces.
