Titans falling...

Such hopes, such lofty dreams; such were the lives they lived...
Images run of days gone by, when they still had so much to give.
The ravages of time and age are cruel in their intent...
Images that had been perfect were in stark reality bent.
Legends fall in such ways...Illness is a thief...
It takes the Titan and forces it down, leaving us all to grieve
The loss of the day when that Titan allowed us to believe.

Thanks...I couldn't seem to get the meter of it right...Too many memories flooding in of the three who died this week and what I was doing at the time when they were at their height of success.
