Today's--------hah.....

A professor stood before his class of twenty senior organic biology students, about to hand out the final exam.

"I want to say that it's been a pleasure teaching you this semester. I know you've all worked extremely hard and many of you are off to medical school after summer. So that no one gets their GPA messed up because they might have been celebrating a bit too much this week, anyone who would like to opt out of the final exam today will receive a 'B' for the course."

There was much rejoicing in the class as students got up, walked to the front of the class, and took the professor up on his offer. As the last taker left the room, the professor looked out over the handful of remaining students and asked, "Anyone else? This is your last chance." One final student rose up and opted out of the final.

The professor closed the door and took attendance of those students remaining. "I'm glad to see you believe in yourself," he said. "You all get 'A's."

Today's-------wait for the moral.....

A man was sitting on the edge of the bed, observing his wife turning back and forth, looking at herself in the mirror. Since her birthday was not far off, he asked what she'd like to have for her birthday.  "I'd like to be six again," she replied, still looking in the mirror.

On the morning of her birthday, he arose early, made her a nice big bowl of Lucky Charms, and then took her to Six Flags theme park.

What a day! He put her on every ride in the park; the Death Slide, the Wall of Fear, the Screaming Monster Roller Coaster... everything there was.  Five hours later they staggered out of the theme park. Her head was reeling and her stomach felt upside down.

He then took her to a McDonald's where he ordered her a Happy Meal with extra fries and a chocolate shake. Then it was off to a movie and popcorn, a soda pop, and her favorite candy, M&M's.

What a fabulous adventure! Finally, she wobbled home with her husband and collapsed into bed exhausted.

He leaned over his wife with a big smile and lovingly asked, "Well, dear, what was it like being six again?"  Her eyes slowly opened and her expression suddenly changed.

"I meant my dress size, you dummy!!"

The moral of the story: Even when a man is listening, he is going to get it wrong.

Today's-------old, but one of my favorites.......

A woman meets with her lover, who is also her husband's best friend.

They make love for hours. Afterwards, as they lie in bed, the phone rings. Since it's the woman's house, she picks up the receiver. The best friend listens, only hearing her side of the conversation:

"Hello? Oh, hi... I'm so glad that you called... Really? That's wonderful... Well, I'm happy to hear you're having such a great time... Oh, that sounds terrific... Love you, too. OK. Bye-bye."

She hangs up the telephone and her lover asks, "Who was that?"

"Oh," she replies, "That was my husband telling me about the wonderful time he's having on his fishing trip with you."

Today's---------true.......

A judge in a small town was hearing a drunk driving case and the defendant who had both a record and a reputation for driving under the influence, demanded a jury trial.  It was nearly 4:00 p.m. and getting a jury would take time, so the judge called a recess and went out into the hall looking to impanel anyone available.  He found a dozen lawyers in the main lobby and told them that they were a jury.  The lawyers thought this would be a novel experience and so followed the judge back to the courtroom.

The trial was over in 10 minutes and it was very clear that the defendant was guilty.  The jury went into deliberation, the judge started getting ready to go home, and everyone waited.  After nearly three hours, the judge sent the bailiff into the jury room to see what was holding up the verdict.

When the bailiff returned, the judge said, "Well, have they got a verdict yet?"

The bailiff shook his head and said, "Verdict? No way.  They're still doing nominating speeches for the foreman's position!"

A strong young man at the construction site was bragging that he could outdo anyone in a feat of strength. He made a special case of making fun of one of the older workmen.

After several minutes, the older worker had had enough. "Why don't you put your money where your mouth is," he said. "I will bet a week's wages that I can haul something in a wheelbarrow over to that outbuilding that you won't be able to wheel back."

"You're on, old man," the braggart replied. "Let's see what you got." The old man reached out and grabbed the wheelbarrow by the handles. Then, nodding to the young man, he said, "All right, Get in."

Today's-----------funny......

A very elderly man applied for a job as a lumberjack at a local lumber mill.  During the interview, he was asked if his age would be a handicap.

The interviewer said, "Are you sure you are up to the hard work involved?"

The old man dropped down and did 100 one-handed pushups without even breaking a sweat.

The interviewer was very impressed.  "OK," he said, "you certainly pass the physical part of the test, but do you have any real experience as a lumberjack?"  The man said he indeed had many years of experience.  The interviewer asked for specifics.

"Well," said the old man, "I'm most proud of my work in clearing the Sahara Forest."

"What?" said the interviewer, "The Sahara is a desert!"

And the old man said, "Sure, NOW it is."
