Janet Harrington

  Georgia A. Davis, daughter of Aurin D. and Dora Davis, was born December 22, 1884, Mackinaw, Illinois, died March 5, 1910, at Douglas, Arizona, aged 25 years, 2 months and 12 days.
  At the age of 4 years, Georgia, with her mother came to Elk county where she grew to young womanhood.  Early in life she gave her heart and consecrated her life to the service of the blessed Master and became a member of the Bethany Christian church in this county.  She taught school five years in this county and one year in Oklahoma and attended busienss college at Quincy, Illinois, in 1907-08.
  On July 12, 1908, at Virden, Illinois, she was united in marriage to Willard F. Paulus of Kent, Ohio.  Shortly after marriage the young couple moved to their home in Douglas, Arizona.
  Sister Paulus was a devoted wife and a faithful Christian.  When the time came to depart this life she was ready.  With sweet confidence she launched out on the river of death to shores of Celestial bliss.
  She leaves a husband, mother and one sister to mourn her untimely departure.  The body was brought to Howard, Kansas, and funeral services were conducted by Rev. Gilbert Park at the Christian church, March 10, at 11 a.m.  Interment was made in Grace Lawn cemetery.
