Balanced Diet---Chocolate in both hands.

Ms Bear

After my daughter had a heart attack in March the Cardioligist told her that Dr Hershey could not take the blame for it.  She was not happy to spend her 45th birthday in ICU but is doing good now.

They are now telling us that dark chocolate is beneficial; I have it half right as I like milk chocolate!  :D

SDM, liking milk chocolate is not a problem.  Put your sunglasses on and WA-LA, dark chocolate.  ENJOY ! ! !
MY GOAL IS TO LIVE FOREVER. SO FAR, SO GOOD !

Well now! I hadn't thought of that; glad we have you along!  ;) ;)

Ms Bear, how is your daughter doing now? Still improving I hope?  MI's can happen at any age, but 45 seems to be a little younger than most.

Ms Bear

Diane, she is doing really good.  She was only off work for a week, of course she went back to work before she went back to the Dr for a release and he wasn't real happy but working is less stressful than staying home with time on your hands when the youngest is getting ready to leave for a year in Afganistan.  She is having some tests this summer while she is off for the summer.

She was really fortunate, the small town in Arizona where she lives usually sends chest pain patients to Phoenix or Vegas but the Monday before her attack on Saturday a new Cardioligist opened an office in town and was called immediately.  He has put her on a diet to lose weight and she is taking it a lot more seriously and is losing, slowly but losing.

I'm really glad to hear that she is doing well. A family member leaving for Afghanistan would surely be a worry.
