He is entitled to his opinion. You know, on a divert here, there is some thinking that Judas wasn't a traitor, because Jesus wanted him to betray him so he could continue his mission.  An interesting idea. We had quite a discussion once on what would have happened if Judas hadn't done it.

For a long time now I have believed that Judas only did what he had to do.  There had to be a betrayal and he was chosen to do it.  Jesus knew he was going to do it.  Later, Judas killed himself because of what he had done.  Peter also had to deny Jesus so that he could continue with Jesus' work.
