Prayer needed

I have been hesitating to do this.....but I am at the point where I need all the help I can get.

As you know last year I took medical bankruptcy.
I am on a very fixed (Praise the Lord) income and there isn't a lot of money left after the bills are paid, but
they are paid with just a tad left over.

Now, my car is in the shop and the mechanic says I need a whole new/rebuilt or used motor.
That will be at least $2000 with a motor that has a warranty.

I KNOW that God is leading me through this and feel like I must ask you for prayer that I can find the means to fix it.
There is no hope in replacing it, I just don't have the funds to make car payments, etc.....higher insurance and tags, etc.

If anyone here knows of a grant or place where I can get help. Please tell me.

I have talked to my pastor and now am asking that you pray that I find the answer I need.

I feel good with my mechanic and know that he will do it the cheapest he can and not sting me.

I do feel he will let me make payments but he needs to have a COD payment when he gets the motor/engine.

I need you to put my mother (Virginia Bates) on a prayer chain.
My sis called this A.M. and said that mom had had a bad reaction to a new anti-biotic medicine and that the reaction to the meds had thrown all of her circuits out of whack.
She is a "Congestive Heart Patient, with a pace maker and has been on Coumidin for years and this week with the new med she lost about 5 pounds she doesn't have to lose and saw the doctor yesterday and the doc said that the medicine caused her circuit to go bad.
They put her right into the hospital
and started testing......her coumidin is not good...her white blood count is very high...Bobbie said something like either 50,000 or 90,000....neither one of us are that sure of our numbers, but it does mean she has a very bad white blood count.

Bobbie, said that her knee (the one she keeps getting  shots in so she can walk is very swollen and she finds the pain very bad...."she said worse  then having a baby"
That is bad.

A doctor may drain the knee tomorrow.....and he also said that they may do a bone marrow test.
You know what that means... It happens a lot and that in itself is scarey.
Mom and Dad are 88 and in the past year mom has been in the hospital about every other month.
I am very worried about Dad, too........George Bates......he has been taking care of her for 67 1/2 years and I know he is beside himself.

I need to go up there, but I told Bobbie I would wait till she calls me, and hope and Pray I get up there before she passes on.
I need your prayers for patience, and I know God doesn't give us any more than we can handle and that she is in His hands.

Money isn't any better....I do think (NOT SURE) my car can handle the trip. the mechanic did a great job of replacing the motor.......I just need to trust that it will get me to Topeka.

See I can add so many needs here.....but, if you can just keep my family in prayer......I will be so grateful.
she is in Stormont Vail Hospital in Topeka, room 772.

well, it looks like Mom is going to have a rough time in the hospital.

She did get her knee drained this morning.....there was blood in the fluid they removed...now they need
to culture it to see if it is infected.
praise the Lord, she isn't contagious......that would throw mom for a loop.
It is bad enough that each time she moves, she throws up (N-G tube) will be added this PM.

Monday they will do a bone marrow procedure on her and yes, they did say the word Lukemia.......and get this it is
cureable........well I sure hope so........with her track record that sure would be nice.

I am going up there, just not sure which day I am going. Not today. The earliest will  be tomorrow afternoon.
I need to get a new script from Julie at Batson's (just have 2 b/p pills left) and I am sure that won't be enough.
That wont get done till Monday morning.  I might have to have her mail it to me up there.

when I take off you will have to make do with the devotions........reread or if one of you wants to take over while I am gone, you have my blessings.

I have no idea when I will be back........just don't have any idea. Depends on Mom and Dad (I will stay either at my sisters or my brothers. Either have computers so maybe I can at least keep you updated.

Need to start planning on my packing and what I leave behind.

I think my neighbor will watch out for the dogs.........I can't afford the rates to board them at the Kennel with Doc Black and be gone too......only have gas money on me, and unless I get fed up there...may be on slim rations.....LOL that is a joke......I have turst in the Lord, He will provide and see me through. ( I will mention this at church tomorrow and maybe they will have an idea (s)
