Dorothy Lee Huckey, age 74, died Friday, May 1, 2009 at her home in Fall River, Kansas.  Dorthy was born July 6, 1934 in Wichita, Kansas, the daughter of Bert and Cora (Adair) Miner. 

Dorothy had worked outside of her home in factories whee she assembled and made furniture.  She was a member of the Coyville Christian Church in Coyville, Kansas.

On August 1, 1974, Dorothy married Ben C. Huckey in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.  Dorothy and Ben were married for 34 years, and he survives at their home.  Other survivors include one daughter, Virginia Merrill of Wichita, Kansas; two sons, Randy and Billy Huckey, both of Fall River, Kansas; two brothers, Bert Miner and Donnie Bradley; three sisters, Bertha Gorely, Nora Hutinson, and Arlie Benson; and nine grandchildren.

Cremation has been requested.  A memorial service will be held by the family at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 16, 2009 at the Coyville Christian Church in Coyville, Kansas.  The family suggests memorials to the charity of your choice and may be sent to the funeral home.  Online condolences may be left at www.countrysidefh.com.  Arrangements are provided by Countryside Funeral Home, P.O.
