Janet Harrington

 Mary F. Kester was born in Miami county, Ohio, January 30, 1852.  At the age of 7 years she removed with her parents to Danville, Illinois, where she grew to womanhood.
  On the 15th day of September, 1872, she became the wife of James A. Oliver.  To this union were born ten children, three of whom have crossed the silent river while seven remain to mourn the departure of their beloved mother.
  In 1882 Mrs. Oliver with her husband and children came to Howard where she resided till the time of her death which occurred Friday February 11, 1910 , at 5 p.m. being 58 years and 12 days of age.
  Funeral services conducted by Elder Gilbert Park were held at the home Sunday, February 13, at 10:a.m. in the presence of a large assembly of relatives and friends.
  Sister Oliver was one of God's noble women and was greatly beloved by those who knew her.
  She leaves one brother, a husband and seven children to mourn the death of a loving sister, a faithful wife and a devoted mother.
