Strawberry Pie

I found this in a cookbook I got at the candle factory here.

Stawberry Pie
This pie has very few caolories and fat -- not too sweet or gooey!  Try other combinations like peaches and peach jello, or an Oreo crust.  Whatever!!!!

1 package vanilla pudding mix, (not instant)
2 cups water
1 package sugar-free strawberry jello
1/2 pound fresh strawberroes. sliced
1 - 9 inch crumb crust pie shell
Cool Whip - Lite

Cook pudding as directed, only use water instead of milk.  After is comes to a FULL BOIL, turn off the heat and dump in the sugar-free jello, stirring to dissolve.  While the pudding mix cools a little, slice strawberries into the pie shell.  Pour the pudding over the berries, chill for several hours.  Serve with whipped cream or Cool Whip.  Serves 6.

I used sugar free pudding mix as well.
