At Cherryvale, Kansas, Monday evening, June 18, 1934, Mr. B. Noel Mullendore and Miss Gertrude Hamar, both of Howard, Kansas, Rev. J. H. Hoopingarner, pastor of the Methodist Epsicopal church of Cherrryvale, officiating.  Rev. Hoopingarner was former pastor of the M. E. church of Howard.

After a few days trip away somewhere Mr. and Mrs. Mullendore returned to Howard and will be at home in the W. E. Allen-George Smith residence.

The bride is the second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. B. W. Hamar, is a native of Howard, a graduate of Howard high school, has been ___________in several colleges and taught in the Howard grade schools for several years.  She has many social and musical accomplishments and is very popular with a large circle of friends.

The groom is the second son of Hon. and Mrs. D. L. Mullendore, is a native of Elk County, a graduate of Howard High School and of Washburn law school of Topeka.  He has engaged in law practice for several years and has been attorney for the state fish and game department and other state boards and commissions.  Howard has no more highly regarded young folks than Mr. and Mrs. Mullendore, and everybody wishes them joy, prosperity and long life.
