     SEVERY - Vancil, Teresa Lynette, died on April 4, 2009 at Via Christi-St. Francis Regional Medical Center, in Wichita, Kansas at the age of 47.  She was born on December 11, 1961, in Wichita, the daughter of Jerry and Nancy (Cash) Stein.  She was raised in Wichita and graduated from local schools with the class of 1980.  After her schooling, she lived in Eureka and Severy where she worked as a teller for Home Bank & Trust Co. for 15+ years.  On March 30, 1990 Teresa was united in marriage to Steve Vancil in Eureka. They made their home in Severy, Kansas. 

Teresa is survived by her husband, Steve; one daughter, Jade; step-sons, Jeremy and Justin; parents, Jerry and Nancy Stein of Wichita, Kansas; two brothers, David and wife, Kristyn Stein of Wichita, and Richard and wife, Jeanel Stein of Wichita; four nephews; seven nieces; two great-nephews; and two great-nieces.  She was preceded in death by one sister, Diana Chambers.
   
 Funeral services will be held at 10:30 A.M., Thursday, April 9, 2009 at the Severy United Methodist Church with Pastor Dave Warren officiating.  Interment will follow at South Lawn Cemetery.  A viewing will be held from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M., Wednesday, April 8, 2009 at Koup Family Funeral Home, in Eureka, Kansas.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Liver Foundation.  Contributions may be sent in care of Koup Family Funeral Home at P.O. Box 595, Eureka, KS 67045, which is in charge of service arrangements.
