Tobina - right now there are engineers on site looking at all of this.  As far as the Highways - many have already come through going to Beaumont and other places.  And they have improved the corner at the west edge of Moline.  The engineers are looking & taking pictures of the challenging spots.  For the blades they are talking coming off Hwy 160 just a bit east of Grenola and going to the "hq" at the south edge of the project.  Then they would route them off the top of the big hill (will need some work here) down Killdeer to Rd 9 back to the highway.   I believe they plan to widen and reinforce existing roads...

Thanks, Liz!  It's when they start talking logistics that you know things are moving forward.  Bring on the wind!  Maybe Howard can be known as Kansas' "windy city".  And the high school mascot can change to the "Turbines"!  And when the football team scores, we all move our arms in circular, windmill motions.  And the cheerleaders can chant, "Blow 'em West Elk!"  Oops!   :-X
(Hmm.  Starting to rant like PEP.  Man, I miss that dude.)
