Mable Irene (Bolton) Rogers, age 89, of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, passed away Tuesday, November 18, 2008 at the Jane Phillips Hospital in Bartlesville, Oklahoma.  She was born November 2, 1919 in Wauneta, Kansas to Lydia and Frank Bolton.  She married Leland Rogers on March 1, 1943.  They made their first home near Grenola, Kansas and then moved near Moline, Kansas.  Mable attended Emporia State College and received her teaching certificate.  She taught at Lebo, Kansas, Belknap, and Moline Grade School until she retired in 1981.

She is survived by two brothers, Bill Bolton of Newton, Kansas and Joe Bolton of California; her children, Mary and Jake Tjaden of Byers, Kansas, Barbara and Alvin Grimes of Park City, Kansas, Karen Hey of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, Charles Rogers of Wichita, Kansas, and Janie Williams of Wichita, Kansas; grandchildren Becky and Darren Reed of St. John, Kansas, Michael and Cass Williams of Wichita, Kansas, Christopher Williams of Wichita, Kansas, and Mathew Hey of Bartlesville, Oklahoma; and six great-grandchildren.

Sh was preceded in death by her parents Lydia and Frank Bolton; six brothers; her husband, Leland Rogers; two sons-in-law, William Hey and Gary Williams; and one granddaughter, Kelli Tjaden-Dodson.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 22, 2008 at the Moline United Methodist Church with Reverend Gary Parsons and Chan Lovelace officiating.  Interment will follow at the Moline City Cemetery.  The family suggests memorial contributions to the Moline United Methodist Church or the Moline Public Library and may be left with the funeral home.  Online condolences may be left at www.countrysidefh.com.  Arrangements are under the direction of Zimmerman Funeral Home, P.O.
