Tammie is survived by her companion, partner, and best friend, Kevin Craig of the home; her five children, James McClendon of El Dorado, Kansas, Jackie Williams, of Basehor, Kansas, and Destanie Williams, Matthew Warren, and Eleashia Warren of the home; one granddaughter, Lydia King of Chanute, Kansas; her grandparents, Fred and Shirley Schulmeyer of Fall River, Kansas; her father, Leland McClendon and companion Paulette Place of Lawrence, Kansas; her mother and stepfather, Judy and Greg Faulkner of Severy, Kansas; two sisters, Frances Sexton and husband Darin and their three children of El Dorado, Kansas and Belinda Sanders and her husband Eric and their four children of Centerville, Kansas; her cousin by blood and brother by heart, Robert "Bobby" Brown and wife Michelle and their eight children; and numerous cousins and countless friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 22, 2008 at the Countryside Funeral Home in Fredonia, Kansas with cremation to follow.  Visitation will be held after the service Saturday at the funeral home.  Family suggests contributions to the Tammie L.
