Last night as Dale and I pulled out of the yard at 6:30pm to attend the Community Meeting at West Elk, what a beautiful sight in the south/west sky. The moon, Venus, and Jupiter were just perfectly visible. We thought to look again at around ten and it was no longer visible. Kind of neat and awesome to view. Just curious to know how many others got to enjoy the view.

I saw it, too, and tried to take a picture. But some things are just too heavenly to be captured in a photograph.

It looked like God's two eyes were glistening and his bright face was smiling over the Flint Hills.
It truly is "a wonderful life."

I saw it but from my yard the planets were beneath the moon at about 4:00 and 5:00

Were you standing on your head, Flo?

Mom70x7

I saw it as well - but my viewing was more like Flo's description.
I wasn't here, though - I was on my way to Udall.
Distance makes the difference?  :D   ???   :D

Actually probably timing.

IT'S NOT WHAT YOU GATHER, BUT WHAT YOU SCATTER....
THAT TELLS WHAT KIND OF LIFE YOU HAVE LIVED!

I'm with Flo on this one.  I was viewing it from Independence but don't remember the time.
