Daylight Donuts to Reopen

Have you heard? Daylight Donut Shop in Howard is reopening within the next month under new management. They plan on doing breakfast and maybe light lunches! Yeeeeaaaaahhhhh!

Awesome! Wonder if they'll be open around 9-ish and serve Grape Nuts? How about internet? (Although at that location, one might be able to "warbird" from surrounding locations.)

Tried it... no dice. It might be different now but I had my laptop in there a few times and didn't get a signal. The walls don't help much either though, those signals tend to have a hard time going through those blocks if the signal is somewhat distant.

Do you have plans for internet? Maybe you could talk w/ SKT and see if they'd be willing to give you a discount rate for a big sign that says, "Internet Hot Spot Provided by SKT".

When's the ETA on grand opening?

I'll have to ask them about it. We're definitely going to be offering all of their services as far as phone, cable, internet, and cell phones but I don't know what kind of programs they have yet. They came in and talked to us about the cell phone stuff yesterday and should be coming in again sometime for the rest of the stuff.

As far as the opening, I'm not sure. I'll need to ask the lady that will be running what her ETA is.

Alright, all I know at the moment is the lady who is opening it is named Debbie and they are planning on opening on the 23 I believe. I was told a Daylight representative was supposed to be coming up on the 22 to teach her how to do it and if so I would think they would go ahead and open on the 22 as the reps actually step you through the entire process doing the cooking and everything. Hopefully I'll know some more soon though. I definitely miss the donuts, they were very fun to make. I'm definitely glad someone is going to open it back up as an actual donut shop. There was one or two people interested in it that wanted to do something other than donuts so it was a little disappointing but this should work out pretty well.
