Contractors. At least 1,186 deaths (3 are Women) between March 2003 and July 2008.

Multi-Forces -  As of March 24, 2008 there were 311 total deaths

U.S. Armed Forces - 4,119 dead (97 are Women) as of July 15th 2008. As of March 2008 there were 8,914 wounded requiring medical air transport. 20,416 wounded did not require medical air transport. Of all the wounded 13,109 were unable to return to duty within 72 hours. Medical air transport was required for an additional 8,273 for non-hostile injuries, and for 23,052 for diseases or other medical conditions.

Media and Aid Workers - 112 journalists, 40 media support workers, and 95 aid workers have been killed.

Insurgents - Through September 22, 2007 approximately 19,429 insurgents/militia were reported to have been killed according to the U.S. military, including 1,309 bombers. However according to the linked sources or articles 12,291 have been killed during that time period, excluding the suicide bombers. Another 3,892 have been killed since then as of June 30, 2008, excluding the bombers.

In addition as of July 1, 2008 approximately 1,548 suicide-bombers have also been reported killed.
