This was posted on Myspace today; I thought it was too good not to share------

Veeeeeeeery clever.

The Obama campaign and their allies in the main stream media have given us the impression that 200,000 people showed up to Germany's Teirgarten Park to hear Obama speak. Would you like to know what really drew 200,000 people to Teirgarten Park???? A free concert by two of Germany's biggest bands, Patrice and Reamonn.

At the conclusion of the concert, Obama takes the stage for his speech giving the impression of 200,000 there to see him. With total cooperation from the American media I'm not surprised they thought they could pull it off.

So did anybody leave after the music?

In the last campaign, when John Kerry did a campus event here, Bruce Springsteen opened for him. Fat lotta good that did.

But now the McCain camp is lining up talent. He told the bookers he wanted either Sinatra or Elvis. "Just keep the Clintons away from The King," he warned.  "Also see if you can line up that blind colored fella, whatsisname with the sunglasses, so we have something for the black Republican."  Then by mistake someone signed Jose Feliciano, who was promptly deported.

No, really. They're now trying to find a few ambulatory Beach Boys to sing "Bomb Bomb Bomb Bomb Iran."

That act will be followed by a Lawrence Welk impersonator.

Also a Liza Minnelli impersonator. The real one offered to do it, but they thought she would be too scary for both youngsters and older people.

The performance and rally are expected to draw well into six figures, although this was in the billfold of the black Republican.

Also planned is a special appearance by Bob Dole, courtesy of his sponsor Viagra, which has caused the event to be nicknamed "Peckerwoodstock."

LOL....  Satire at its finest!  Well written but missing 2 things, SDM: McCain and the burning Bush and some Stone Tablets.

I like to monitor Myspace; although most of the writings are too vulgar IMO, some of those young folks are just brilliant. There used to be a young female attorney who posted there, but quit when she started working on the Texas polygamy case. Shae was outstanding. And of course, some are just funny like this one, glad you enjoyed it.

I'm glad other people share my warped sense of humor.
I laugh and make fun of things that some would deem inappropriate..
