The world's tallest hotel at 105 stories was built at a cost of an estimated $750m.

It was the seventh largest building in the world.

It was reportedly the first building of over 100 floors built outside New York or Chicago.

3,000 rooms, 3.9 million square feet, seven revolving restaurants.

Building material was entirely of concrete.

Five years of construction ended in 1992.

Only problem is no one has ever stayed or dined in this hotel.

Construction was of poor quality and the building is supposedly sagging.

No windows, fixtures, or other fittings were ever installed.

The hotel was placed on the host city map before construction began.

It is not shown on today's maps but the building towers over the city skyline.
