Carl I. Kimzey, 64, passed away Monday, May 5, 2008 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.  H was born September 4, 1943 in Longton, Kansas to Carl Eugene and Rosalie (Marquardt) Kimzey.

Carl was a building manager for the State of Oklahoma for seven years  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and watching outdoorsmen TV shows and John Wayne movies.  He will be remembered for his caring and sincerer spirit.

He is survived by his wife, Marilyn; two sons, Wayne Kimzey of Yukon, Oklahoma and Michael Kimzey and wife Andrea of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; one brother Jerry Kimzey and wife Melba of Wichita, Kansas; two sisters, Lavada Smoot and husband Carl of Fredonia, Kansas and Evelyn Catron of Stilwell, Oklahoma; three grandchildren, Taylor, Reece, and Landry; mother-in-law, Helen Cunningham; brothers-in-law Larry, Jerry, Tom, Tim, Randy, Rick, and Tony Cunningham; and sisters-in-law, Debbie Reed and Kristy Lee.

He was preceded in death by his parents Carl and Rosalie and two brthers-in-law, Bob Catron and Terry Cunningham.

Funeral services were held Thursday, May 8, 2008, in the Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel with interment following in Resthaven Memory Gardens.
