Thanks for the welcome! I actually grew up being called Babs (I hate it to this day!) then started going by Babette when I got older. One day a new friend said it took to long to say my name but since I was a good bet for a new friend she would call me Bette (like Bette Midler) and that has stuck pretty well.

Since I live in Longton, I do know a lot of Kimsey's
In fact until gas prices got so high, Perry's brother "Curtis" went to the
same church as I do........small world.
