I want everybody to notice that the case against Lon Furrow is listed as "for dismissal".  That doesn't mean he wasn't guilty, just that someone had gotten him off.  Family story.

I'm surprised that were not a lot more due to this being in the prohibition years.  From the stories I have heard there was a lot of bootlegging going on and it continued until Kansas voted to allow alcohol in the late 1940's.  I'm sure there is a lot of family's stories connected with time period.

There's something we need to keep in mind........those that were posted, were for that particular time period only.   In browsing thru the old newspapers, whenever the District Court News was printed,  there were always quite a number of violations, money judgements, and foreclosures. (Like one full length column and maybe two).

Unfortunetely, I do not have the entire column(s) of which I had posted.  That was printed out on the same page as some other data that I wanted.  But I went ahead and posted what I had, thinking someone would be interested, in a partial listing.
