Bonnie, I had cataracts removed and lens implants in both eyes in March of 2007 - couldn't hardly believe the difference.  My distance is 20/15.  Do need very weak reading glasses but that's only because my arms are long enough.   ;D  Know he will enjoy being able to see and yes, colors are so much brighter.  However, I can not go outside without sunglasses.  Kills my eyes.
MY GOAL IS TO LIVE FOREVER. SO FAR, SO GOOD !

Bonnie, that is so great about Bob's eyesight.........
I know when dad had his done, he too was amazed with how good everything looked.

Mom got a little fed up with him tho.......he would be looking out the window and noticing how bright and beautiful things were and calling at her to come see what he was looking at.........I am afraid she lost patience with him and told him she had already seen it........when she complained to me, I told her that he was just expierencing his new eye sight and wanting to share with her........guess that has come from living 67 years together.............

Today, I want to make a difference.
Here I am Lord, use me!

Sounds like the weather is going to be something else around here tomorrow.  All of you that have to be out and about, please be very careful.  I''m sure I'll be really glad to see Piedmont tomorrow evening if it does what they are promising.

Yes, all who have to be out do be careful! We got stocked up today with groceries, gasoline and milk. Should be set for at least 24 hours or so! These critters sure put on the feedbag when the weather gets bad. I can always tell when a storm is coming, just watch the disappearing food!  :-\

Beautiful, typical Kansas weather this week.  Monday-sunshine, Tuesday-snow, Wednesday-sunshine, and today 4 inches of snow already and still coming down heavy.  At least our wind isn't blowing like it is west of us.  The snow is just piling up. Had to clean the bird feeder this morning so the birds could get to the feed.  They might have knocked it all off eventually but it didn't hurt to help them.

Last night, when I heard how bad the predictions were, I decided to not take any chances on the road to drive to WSU today. Glad I'm so smart! What puzzles me is why nearly every school in southeast and south-central KS is closed today EXCEPT WSU! LOL

High school and grade school students must have prayed harder for a snow day than the college students  ;D

Seven inches and climbing.  Just heard a report from Longton of 8 inches.  Still snowing, but not as hard.
