I've got the windows open in my kitchen, living room, and bedrooms. A nice breeze is coming through and airing out the house. It's nice to get the stuffed up, winter smell out. You know what I'm talking about? The smell of your house being shut up all winter long. Ahh, spring, I'm glad you're here. LOL.   :D

I will remind you girls of this when the April blizzard hits us.  But enjoy it while you can.

March is our (the Denver area) biggest snow month and April is also a big one.

Almost five years ago today was our 40 incher.

OH snow doesn't bother me; remember I'm from Buffalo, NY.  My parents just left here this morning to head back to snow on their ground. Last year when we had our Easter egg hunts at the school it snowed in the afternoon.  That was funny, but also so cold (especially when the kids weren't really prepared for it).   I'm just enjoying what we have for now.  I know what you mean Devyn, my windows have been open today too getting that winter smell out of the house.

glad we aren't having the rains they are having east of us.  Talked to the daughter in Missouri this morning and they ONLY had 8" compared to some of the surrounding areas.  Said they lived on an island for a couple days.  They are still planning to be here Sunday, however.

We spent the weekend in southern California.  The weather was absolutely gorgeous!  A little smog, but not too bad.  It was in the 80's, the flowers were beautiful!  The food was wonderful and it was great to see our daughter.  Had a delay getting home last night and we were about an hour late, but other than that, it was a great weekend.  It's 26 here this A.M., but supposed to get to the low 60's today.  California is a great place to visit, but I don't think I could ever get used to the traffice and the cost of living is certainly much higher than here.  The ocean was beautiful as we took off and looked down, the mountains had some snow on the high peaks.  Anyway, hope all of you had a great Easter weekend.

What town does your daughter live in?  We're in Escondido, which is in San Diego County.  The way we handle the traffic is just to not get out in it, that's the advantage of being "retired."  I still work part time, for the Chamber of Commerce, but it's just a couple of miles from our home, and of course, "NO" freeway traveling!

I'm glad you had a good week-end.  I'm sure the planes were traveling "FULL" last evening.  Spring break is ending for a lot of schools, which added to the Easter traffic for flying.

Wasn't the weather for our Easter Sunday just great?  The little ones got to play outside, and hunt for eggs that had been "hidden" by the easter bunny while they were eating dinner.  Everyone enjoyed the afternoon outside, and we even took our family pictures outside.  Good thing, cause don't think I have room to get everyone together inside.  Family is getting way too big, and I LOVE IT.  Had 25 for dinner and a great time was had by all.   :-\ Now I am trying to get everything back where it should be and all the "grass" off the carpet.  ;D and Don't mind it a bit.  Hope everyone's Easter was as great as mine.

Bonnie, our daughter lives in Signal Hill.  It has a wonderful view from up there.  On Friday night we went to an observation park, which had a tribute to the oil workers who were the original drillers, etc up there.  There were observation posts that you could see LA, San Pedro, the bay area of Long Beach, etc.  With all of the lights, it was absolutely beautiful.  Yes, the planes were packed yesterday.

Our daughter drives the 405, I believe it is, to Torrance every day.  She said it isn't really very far, but it takes 30-45 minutes depending on the traffice.  With 5 lanes each way and an HOV as well, that's too much for me!
