I dare ya to paint those glass prisms! Glass is pretty tricky to do well. Bet ya can! ;)

I probably could do them in a chalk drawing on very white paper but I thought about painting the prisims.

Here is my first painting was done in oil (my first time).  It is 18X24 canvas board.  It was done at Hutchinson Juco in the 1980s.

A very nice still life. If this was done in class, is it your own ''style" or the style of someone you were studying. It's a little "Hopper''ish. I like it. You did well with the bottles. I did one once that was supposed to be in the style of Gauguin. I hated it, but got a good grade.

The instructor set up the still life and the class painted it.  I believe that my style is "Edward Hopper" since I did two of his paintings in class at Wichita State University.

Aha!  I thought so, not that I can spell the poor man's name.  Hooper?  Now that's funny!  Or maybe that's some other artist....sure, that's it ...Edwina Hooper. No?   Anyway, you do nice work. Your instructors must enjoy working with you.

There is a "Hooper".  I look him up on the internet and found out that he is still living.  His style is posters and the style is of the 1930s and 1940s.  The artist "Gauguin" is very difficult to paint his style especially when he uses bright colors.
