Ok, still up in the air about my trip north......if I pay attention to weather reports
I will not be going. Roads are good from here to there.

My folks driveway got bladed out yesterday and looking at road map, I think Topeka
roads are as good as they can be after their almost 10 inches of snow.

My problem seems to be "what do I do with the Dump Cake, now?"
I know I can eat it.....that is my problem....LOL.........what I need to know is can I freeze it for
later?

I have eaten a bite of it and it is good...........but, just wonder if I can put it on ice so I
won't be tempted to eat it all.
I will share with neighbors if it isn't, but just need advice from all you cooks.

Judy......I am not one of the "better cooks" on this forum!  However, "if it were me," I would cut it into serving pieces, put it in something "air tight" and freeze it, and just take out a piece at a time, heat it and eat it!  (With whipped cream, OR, ice cream!)

I do hope, though, that you get to go to Topeka.

I am going to try to freeze it. Or, I will take it piece by piece to my neighbors and play like
I am the fruit cake lady......LOL.

The trip is out for now. I finally called my sister this morning and she  said that a weather system
was coming in to the state Tuesday night or Wednesday.
That would be the day I would try to come home, and none of the sites I have clicked into today has
assured me that what they (or we) would get was just a dusting or not......even a dusting on what Topeka roads
have would be too much.

I did just get home from Indy and the roads are great.......only snow on the ground is in our parking lot and my part
of the sidewalk in front of my unit.
Now WalMarts is another story.

Hope you all have a safe trip to your family and eat a lot for me.

Judy, I sure don't blame you for not getting that far from home, with a chance of another snow storm coming your way.  Hopefully, there will be some good programs on T. V. that you can watch.

I've finished wrapping our gifts for Cathy and family, I got the "T. V. Mix" made this morning, Bob is finishing up the Breakfast Casserole that we'll take out to Cathy's in the morning, so that's been our day, so far.  At 3:30, Cathy and Harvey will come by and pick us up, we're going to the 4:00 p.m. Christmas Eve service at Church, then we all are going on over to Poway for a Christmas Eve dinner with some family members.
