This is an easy one!   You shoud be able to get this one easily!

Our numbers are many all over the world;
We have something to do with something that's hurled.
We can create laughter.  We can create pain;
Many of you come to see us again.
Rich people own us, but the poor they do not;
Sometimes we're seen in a natural spot.
Inside, or outside our routine is the same;
We can be played, but we're not a game.
Yes you can see us from clear out in space;
And you can see us in a cavernous place.
Our pieces are many in colors and sizes;
And some of our pieces create some surprises.
In Japan they all love us, our numbers are many;
But down in Peru there just isn't any.
We can run to the left.  We can walk to the right;
And with others, if tied, we go into the night.
We have leather and wood and spherical things;
Some call us critters and some call us kings.
Some of our pieces can react with some dancing;
While others do nothing.  Not even prancing.
We've been written in story, in verse and in song;
We've been seen in the movies as we go along.
We've created excitement.  We've created a fuss;
And even the children can play just like us.
The older we get, the better we are;
In some of our plays we've created a star.
The old people love us, the children do too;
Can you guess what I am from the cues I gave you?
