C. Lodema Holderman, 83, of rural El Dorado, and Fall River native, died Friday at Susan B. Allen Memorial Hospital in El Dorado.

Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Tueaday at Jefferson Street Baptist Church in Eureka with Pastor Allen hunter officiating.  Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery.

Friends may call an hour prior to the service time.

Memorials are suggested to a charity of the donor's choice and may be sent to Countryside Funeral Home, P.O. Box 247, Fredonia, KS 66736.  Arrangements are under the direction of Zimmerman Funeral Home in Howard.

Mrs. Holderman was born September 30, 1924, the daughter of George and Edna Julia (Smith) Bunyard in Fall River.

She married Franklin Pierce Holderman on March 26, 1949 at Wichita.  He died in 2002.

Mrs. Holderman graduated from Emporia Teachers College and taught at LaFountain.

She and her husband operated Pawnee Furniture Store in Wichita.  She was also a sales manager for Olin Mills and worked as a cashier in various retail stores.

The couple moved to Eureka in the late 1980s and later to rural El Dorado.

Mrrs. Holderman is survived by two sons, Larry Holderman, El Dorado, and Dennis Holderman, Haysville; two brothers, Edward Bunyard, Rosehill, and John Bunyard, Leon; four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
